No matter which step you're on, you'll always enjoy Delicious meals
What is the
Cambridge Weight Plan like?
We offer flexible weight loss programmes for women and men through personalised support with one of our Consultants.
Our programmes are flexible enough to fit your lifestyle. You can choose the total replacement option or opt for one of the other programmes that include healthy eating alongside meal replacements.
Many of our Cambridge Weight Plan Consultants have followed the plan themselves before becoming Consultants, so they know exactly what you're going through. After reviewing your personal circumstances, they will recommend the most appropriate Step for you to begin.
Cambridge Weight Plan not only provides you with Personalised 1-to-1 Support and delicious, varied low-calorie products, but also offers additional resources to make your Plan easier.
Steps to reach your goal
Another great advantage of the Cambridge Weight Plan is the freedom to choose the Step you want to start on. The programmes offer something for everyone, whatever their circumstances or weight loss goals.
For example: one option is to start with Step 1A Sole Source or 1B Sole Source, in which only 600 to 800 calories per day are consumed.
In Steps 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 you follow a meal plan that is complemented by Cambridge products.
Remember that you can start on the Step that best suits your lifestyle and weight loss needs.
Higher steps offer gradual weight loss and are ideal for people who are working towards weight maintenance.
A Cambridge Weight Plan Consultant will help you choose the programme that is best for you, and guide you throughout your weight loss journey, providing the support you need to reach your goal.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner options will be those that best fit your lifestyle.
Each Cambridge Weight Plan product provides approximately 200 kcal.
** ** If you need to add a small amount of skimmed milk to your coffee or tea on Step 2, you may do so with the advice of your Cambridge Coach. (Note: for reference, 50 ml of skimmed milk provides approximately 18 kcal.)
The 6 steps of the programme
The Sole Source Plus® programme is recommended only for people with a BMI greater than 25. If you want to start on this step you must take into account the legal regulations of your country, as it is not permitted in all countries.
The Sole Source Plus® programme allows greater flexibility. This programme consists of consuming 800 calories per day.
The use of the Sole Source Plus® programme is not permitted if you suffer from certain contraindicated conditions. However, there are a number of conditions in which the Sole Source Plus® programme may be used, but with special precautions.
In all cases where a medical condition is present, a doctor's authorisation will be required before starting any of the programmes. It is important that you consult your doctor before starting any eating plan.
If you choose the Sole Source® programme, you will need to inform your doctor before starting, regardless of your BMI. Your Cambridge Consultant will advise you of this, allowing your doctor to carry out clinical supervision if necessary.
This step should be followed for a maximum of twelve weeks (in accordance with the 2006 NICE Guidelines). Afterwards you will need to move to an 800 kcal plan for at least one week.
This step is only available in some countries.
*People with a BMI of 40 or above cannot begin Step 1, but may start on one of the higher steps. Your Cambridge Consultant will advise you.
This is a meal plan based on a balanced, low-calorie diet. It is more flexible than the Sole Source programme (Step 1) due to its higher calorie content.

- Anyone who cannot follow a very low-calorie diet (fewer than 800 kcal).
- Anyone who is preparing to start the Sole Source programmes.

- Used when beginning the stabilisation phase, after completing the Sole Source programmes.
This step is only available in some countries.
*People with a BMI of 50 or above should not begin Step 2, but may start on a higher-calorie plan. Your Cambridge Consultant will advise you.

Congratulations! You look and feel incredible
Your goal now is to keep feeling incredible. Our aim at Cambridge Weight Plan is not only to help you achieve your goals, but also to help you maintain them. That is why these two phases are key at this stage:
-
Stabilisation:
This phase is designed to gradually introduce different types of food. This is achieved by moving to a higher step than the one you were previously following, for two weeks or until your body stabilises. You can then move to the next step, either higher or lower — your Cambridge Consultant will advise you on the right time to do so.
-
Long-term Maintenance:
This means your body has completed the stabilisation phase through one of the steps, for at least two weeks. At this point you will know the calorie level you need to feel well, or how to readjust your food intake to meet your needs.
Your Cambridge Consultant will help you develop strategies to maintain your results in the long term. Share your success and any concerns with your Cambridge Consultant — they are trained to give you advice and guidance.
Available in Mexico.
