CWP Recipe: Gourmet hummus

INGREDIENTS

• 1/3 cup of tahini (sesame paste). 🍜 • 2–4 tablespoons of cold water, or more if necessary.👌 • 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil.🥄 • 1/2 teaspoon of ground cumin. • 3/4 teaspoon of sea salt. • 2 teeth of medium garlic, peeled and crushed. 👊 • Juice of 1 lemon (2–3 tablespoons). 🍋 • 1 can of chickpeas, rinsed and drained. 🤓 • Ingredients optional: extra portion of olive oil, chopped cilantro, chopped parsley, toasted pine nuts, black or green olives, dried tomatoes, roasted pepper, chile…🔥

INSTRUCTIONS

1.-Add tahini, cold water, olive oil, cumin, salt, garlic and lemon juice to a food processor. food. 2.- Make sure mix it until the puree is smooth. Add the chickpeas. 🧐 3.- Go back to mix, but now stop halfway to scrape down the sides of the bowl, until the hummus is soft. 👌 4.-If it seems too thick, add another tablespoon or two of water. 🥄 * 5.- Test and season with additional salt, cumin, and/or lemon juice if necessary. 🍋 6.-.
