CWP Recipe: Kale Snack

Leave the chips behind and start eating healthier snacks like this kale snack that's easy to prepare.

If a handful of chips is your idea of a snack, you probably already know that it’s not a healthy option. Kale chips can satisfy your craving for something crunchy without all the saturated fat and sodium in their potato chip counterparts. Even better, kale snack is easy to make at home, so you can always have a nutritious snack on hand.

Ingredients

1 large bunch of kale. 2 tablespoons of olive oil. 1 tablespoon of salt. *

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Remove the kale from the stems, wash and dry well. Add the kale to a resealable plastic bag and add a little oil, shake well so each piece is covered. Place the kale on a baking sheet, spread it out slightly and flatten the leaves. Bake for 12 minutes, remove from the oven and add the salt.
