Exercising does not always have to mean effort, heavy routines and boredom. There are fun things you can do to exercise.

Summer has arrived and it is an excellent excuse to get active and spend time outside the house. - Explore nature You can do many things to explore, but going out into nature is one of the best things you can do for yourself. It is proven that at least 10 minutes surrounded by trees or in a green space helps reduce stress and counts as exercise.
- Swimming With summer comes the waves of heat that make us crave a pool. Do it! You don’t even need to swim, you can just walk or even just hold on to the edge of the pool and kick your feet. The fact is that swimming is super fun and very effective as an exercise.
- Explore the ocean Just like swimming, here you can snorkel or paddle a kayak or canoe. But even if you just walk along the seashore you can burn up to twice as many calories as if you walk the same distance on a hard surface.
- Groom your garden Garden work is an excellent source of exercise and summer is an ideal time to enjoy it.
- Walk around the neighborhood Whether you have a dog or not, going for a walk around the block is an accessible exercise that we all have. If this is not enough, you can always run and visit the neighboring blocks.
- Resume childhood activities When I was a child I loved riding my bike. I never saw it as exercise. What was yours? Play soccer, run, dance? Take it back, you’ll have fun and almost everything counts. Remember to take good care of yourself this time of year. Drink plenty of water, use sunscreen and protect yourself from the sun during the hottest hours. But don’t stop exercising. Your body and mind need it to be healthy.
