Tips to get your first clients

We decided to write a series of tips to get your first clients that can help you start your business...

We know that once you decide to start a business and you have everything to start earning money from your business, there may be certain obstacles or you may feel that not everything is going as planned. Among these factors, there may be the feeling that you do not know how to sell to potential clients or that you cannot close the transaction. This can be extremely frustrating, and we know it. For this reason we decided to write a series of tips to get your first clients. 1- NEVER run after your potential clients This is the rule in business. If you feel desperate to make sales, you will convey that emotion of desperation and it will not be comfortable for the other party. I’ll give you an example. Think about when you walk into a store and whether you go with a goal or not, someone on the staff starts following you. Asking if he can help you with anything. Offering you products that may or may not be of interest to you but since it comes in an invasive way, it only gets rejection from the clientele. THIS is how it works in any turn. And like any rule, there may be exceptions. But no one likes to feel pressured to buy something. This should be a decision that the client must make. No pressure involved. 2- Generate trust and be empathetic Be careful with the emotions you transmit. As we mentioned in the previous point, this part is very important. If you convey calm and security when talking about your product, it will be easier for your potential clients to be attracted in the right way. Don’t underestimate the power of empathy. Remember that in this way we appear human and it will be easier to understand the needs of your clients. This will also favor your relationship with your clients in a positive way. To a point that this could define whether you manage to win your potential client or lose him. 3- Believe in your product It may seem that this is not so important but we insist that emotions are transmitted. If you, who promote the product, do not believe in it, potential customers will feel it. They may not fully realize that this is what is wrong, but there will be something that will not convince them. Once you decide to start a business, focus on marrying the product in a way in which you know it completely, understand it perfectly and it is not difficult for you to talk about it. This way when you talk about it, it will feel like a conversation and the interaction with your potential clients will be more natural. Remember above all to persevere in your goals. Your potential clients are there, you just have to have an adequate approach so as not to scare them away.
