4 ways to build your business part-time Copy Cwp April 9, 2018 No Comments One of the main reasons that stops us from making changes in our lives or doing new things is that idea that we have to go all-in and not turn back. When we don’t know what direction a project is taking, it is difficult to take steps forward and that is when we prefer the security of everyday life, that comfort zone where nothing is risked and we follow the usual routine without ascending or moving forward. But is this really what it takes to be a health coach? Would you have to leave the stability of your current job or reorganize your life to inspire other people to change theirs? Of course not, many health coaches have their part-time business alongside their current jobs, learning new methods and updating their health knowledge, with the aim of helping other people and why not, giving a change to their own lifestyle. Here we show you 4 ways you can build your part-time health business alongside your current job:

  1. Share what you do with your social circles To start, you need to let everyone know. Share your activities with friends, family, neighbors, even at your current job in the morning. Rest assured that you will have the support of all of them, as they will also share what you have transmitted to them. It will take a little time, but don’t be discouraged, if you are constant you will reach your goal very soon.
  2. Start with just one client Once you acquire basic knowledge and master it in a certain way, it is time for you to start with your first client and get practice. With your first client you will realize how much time requires assisting them and how you should distribute your schedule with each client you acquire, depending on the factors that each one represents. Your first client will give you the confidence you need to approach more people.
  3. Set clear goals. How many clients are you able to serve and can you schedule them in your schedule? Sometimes by gaining experience we believe that we can serve more clients, and this is very possible, but you must keep in mind that not all of them require the same time to be served or that you do not master many of the scenarios that could arise with each one. Based on what you have learned with your first or second client, set weekly, monthly and eventually annual goals. You must provide personalized attention to each of them and of course your success will be in them achieving theirs.
  4. Get organized When you are organized, your performance improves, you are more efficient. Here we will show you a few ways to organize your time. Mark your times well to answer client calls or answer their questions. Create files for each of your clients in which you have detailed information about them and their sessions. Have your favorite coach guides, recipe lists and some other sources of information printed. This will be a kind of presentation that you can show with new clients. Remember that you do not have to abandon the stability of your current job, it is possible to serve your clients if you establish a schedule to serve them and answer their questions. Your experience will grow little by little and this way you will be able to have a more extensive list of clients.
