A simple way to prevent obesity

It is important that you eat more of certain food groups that help you prevent obesity and overweight naturally.

It is clear that the main way to prevent obesity is by maintaining a good diet. That means you should eat all food groups in balance. You have to include all the nutrients that your body requires to function correctly. I know sometimes it’s hard to keep balance because the weekend comes and you go to a barbecue or eat out with your family. Pampering yourself from time to time is okay. However, it is important that you eat more of certain food groups that help you reduce the chances of becoming obese and overweight. A group of Spanish researchers studied the diet of 16,000 healthy people in a healthy weight range for an average of 10 years after graduation. Before starting the study, participants provided information about what they ate each day. The researchers gave more points to those who ate more fruits and vegetables. After several years, 600 of those volunteers had developed obesity. Groups that consumed more plant-based products were 43% less likely to be overweight; despite other factors such as age, sex, alcohol consumption, whether they were smokers, history of obesity, sleep duration and physical activity. The only relationship that existed was between the risk of obesity and the consumption of plant-based products. For this reason, it is essential to prioritize the quantity and variety of foods of plant origin in your diet.
