We all have our own way of interpreting and living our feelings and emotions, and we all find it more difficult to accept and express some feelings than others. We will tell you how to control anger specifically. Some people are very emotionally sensitive and have a great ability to adequately manage their own feelings and to understand and perceive those of others. However, there is another type of person whose feelings overwhelm them and affect them in such a way that they prevent them from reacting rationally. It is important, therefore, to live emotions calmly and try to establish a close relationship with them. Negative emotions come in various forms. They can appear as anger, jealousy, fear, resentment, or any other emotion caused by a bad experience that leaves you with negative feelings toward something or someone. These emotions can consume you and make you unable to focus on anything else. Here are some ways to channel them so that they become more positive. Tips Isolate the cause When something bad happens to you, it is a normal human reaction that you transfer the negative emotions from that event to everything else and leave you feeling bad towards people and things that have no relation to it. It is very important that you know exactly what is causing those negative emotions so that you understand where they come from and so that you can keep them away from those around you. Be honest about how you feel Telling yourself how you feel, what negative emotions you feel, and why you feel that way is the first step to overcoming them. If you deny them they will only infect you and become more intense. Tell yourself why you are If you are angry, pretend you are saying it to the person who made you angry or hurt your feelings, or make a list of the reasons why you feel that way. Putting things into words or writing will keep you honest and help you manage your emotions. Get Away from the Situation Once you have come to know what is causing your negative emotions, get away from that person, place, or event. If someone has hurt your feelings, distance yourself until you have calmed down. Take advantage of the distance to focus on something else and clear your mind. Turn negativity into energy Negative emotions can be used as motivation or energy to do things. If you are angry, and it makes you restless and agitated, go for a walk, meet up with friends, or engage in some form of physical activity to help you release the pressure without making people who don’t deserve it the repositories of your mood. Let your feelings toward other people who have hurt you motivate you to shine and improve. Meditate Once you know what is bothering you and how you feel, you can clear the negativity in your mind and overcome it. Find a quiet place where you can be alone and away from the source of negative emotions. Sit still, start breathing deeply and evenly and close your eyes. Empty your mind and imagine the negative energy leaving your body as it is replaced by new, positive energy.
