These blisters are nothing more than serum bags that form due to constant friction on the skin or burns. So, if you climb, ride a bicycle or do sports with constant movements such as canoeing, it is very likely that blisters are the order of the day. Narrow shoes or new ones that we have been wearing for a long time is always a reason to have a blister on our feet and you can’t wait to get home to burst it. This is a very serious error because it can become infected. When you take off your shoes, follow one of these simple steps.

  1. Boil 5 liters of water and add 5 tablespoons of salt. When the water is hot, submerge your feet, it is very likely that it will hurt but after a few minutes you will have relief.
  2. Aloe vera is a very good option to treat blisters. Just apply 20 grams of aloe vera gel to your blisters and cover it with gauze. Leave it on overnight.
  3. If the annoyance turns out to be too much. You can pop the blister with a needle sterilized in alcohol and leave the skin intact. Then apply antibacterial ointment.
  4. Make a chamomile compress. With chamomile you can calm the pain caused by that blister. Boil a cup of chamomile and let it cook for 5 minutes. Then when it has cooled, dip a clean towel in the tea, remove excess moisture, and press this compress against the blister.
  5. Use apple cider vinegar. Apple cider vinegar is used to relieve mild pain, including removing the blisters. It is very useful for preventing infections, thanks to its antibacterial properties. Vinegar can burn too much, so it is highly recommended to dilute it with an equal amount of water. Now the blisters won’t stop you at all. You will be able to return to exercising or running as if nothing had happened. Remember to get shoes that are comfortable for your feet and protect your feet with socks.
