How to take care of children's nutrition
Here are my simple recommendations so that your children learn to lead a healthier life. It is important to take care of children's nutrition.
A few days ago, my daughter invited her friends from school to eat at home. When they arrived, I almost had a heart attack when I realized that what they had for lunch for recess were chips and a frutsi. >Then I started thinking about the busy lives we working parents lead. I decided that today I would write about how to take care of our children’s nutrition. Think about it, you don’t have many years to do it. We will tell you how to take care of children’s nutrition. Simple recommendations Remember that children eat less food than adults. Furthermore, especially during times of family gatherings, they prefer playing over food. Don’t force them to eat more than they ask for, just remember to maintain rules and times for meals and thus encourage good habits. Don’t get them used to eating the same portions as you. When you prepare very elaborate stews, try to serve them and prepare foods that are more in line with their age. Make them try these dishes little by little, since the condiments with which they are prepared can be very irritating to their stomach. Try to incorporate many colors into the dishes to make them more striking. It is normal that at parties there is no shortage of sweets from piñatas and bags. But you can control what they consume because excess blood sugar alters their appetite, leading them to have a poor diet, to which they can get used to if it is not controlled. You can also create your own healthy desserts, this way you avoid packaged ones and know that they are natural. As parents, it is essential to teach our children through example. If they observe that you take natural water instead of soft drinks, they will take up the same habit. Remember that we are your greatest example. Avoid sugary drinks. If from the start, almost all the products in the markets are sugary and processed, do not fall into the temptation (because it is very easy) to buy fruits and juices with too much sugar and much less soda. That is prohibited. Better choose natural drinks, prepare a delicious watermelon or melon water. We must not go overboard, as parents we must never forget to set a limit for our children. Little by little, habits are formed, don’t let them become too much. I know it’s hard sometimes to set a limit, but remember it’s for their well-being. We know that it is difficult to follow an adequate eating plan during these times. Even so, it is important that good habits are not lost on weekdays and when there is no celebration. You should not relax with children because they are in a very vulnerable stage where they acquire good and bad health behaviors.
