Support yourself with your friends to lose weight
Have you imagined what it could be like if you support yourself with someone else? Of course, you could rely on your friends, family, even your health coach.
If you have previously tried to lose weight on your own and it turned out to be a difficult task, have you imagined what it could be like if you supported yourself with someone else? Of course, you could rely on your friends, family, even your health coach. Maybe in a social media group you could find a partner who shares the interest of having a healthier life just like you. There are studies that claim that losing weight is easier and more effective if you do it accompanied by someone who shares the same goal. This could be very true, since moral support would be provided mutually. If one is falling the other stops to encourage him and does not abandon him. It could be related to a competition between colleagues in which winning only means that both achieve their goal.
- Go for a walk with your partner and take advantage of the time to catch up. Both will be burning calories.
- You can also schedule a gym together and start exercising. Of course supporting each other during the routine.
- Host a Cambridge Weight Plan party. Cook something healthy and include CWP snacks as appetizers.
- Always set goals to overcome and give each other support if you are not achieving them at the right pace. The point of this is for both to meet their goals. One of the goals could be; run certain distances per week, drink water for a month or eat healthy for as long as possible without missing a single day.
- Share your successes, so you will have inspiration to move forward. Another thing you can share with each other is how you came to meet those goals. Remember that you are each other’s guide to reach your goal. With a partner to lose weight, rest assured that the mission will be easier and you will reach your goal sooner. This is a good idea, since it is better to meet your goals with someone. Above all to have support in those moments when you would like to abandon your goal. Keep going, don’t be discouraged!
