What to do and what not to do to differentiate yourself as a health expert?
Tips to make yourself noticed as a health expert.
Generally, when thinking about what we are going to advertise as a health expert, we feel that we do not have many options and we mistakenly fall into advertising what we think gives value to our practice. While those things are indeed valuable, they are not things that differentiate our consultation. We usually advertise or shout:
- The studies we have
- Other studies carried out
- Associations and institutions to which we belong or have worked
- Services and procedures we offer
- Location. What we don’t think about is that this same information is exactly what many other experts share. People looking for doctors cannot know which studies make who better and frankly, they will only prefer whoever is closest or offers the cheapest service. But then how do we differentiate ourselves from the competition? There are many things to do about this. The best thing will always be to observe your business and find things that only you do or can offer. Like this, there are some starting points that are good to consider:
- Generate patients: For this you can go ahead. Create prevention campaigns. Emphasizing how important it is to prevent can generate many new clients and better yet, they can relate to you as the expert they have to turn to for this.
- Segmented advertising: Serve and know your patients. I know that the main thing is that they are all, but this is a fantasy. Who are the ones that usually come with you? Or better yet, who would you like to attract? How old are they? What do they like? All of this is important because you can segment your advertising and reach your ideal patients.
- Position yourself: This is similar to generating patients. If you exploit certain factors of your practice as variables necessary for good medical or health care without mentioning your brand, clients will look for these factors that they will only find in your brand.
- Social networks: yes, this is a topic that we always talk about and if we do it it is for a reason. You have to be active on networks, it is essential. If you don’t know how to use it best, there are plenty of people out there who do. And yes, you have to invest, but the results are incredible.
