At first, as a good entrepreneur, I had a lot of faith that this was the diet that was going to work for me. The first two weeks I was always very cheerful, I barely lost two or three kilos and I began to neglect myself. Something in me said that - I should accept my body as it was - so I threw away all the fashion magazines, loved my body and forgot about the diet. If eating was my pleasure, why did I have to prohibit it? to look sexy in a dress? I felt like I could be sexy even with my 8 extra kilos. What happened next, I should have seen it coming. It was no longer 8 extra kilos, after three years it was 15 and after six years, I no longer had 10 extra kilos, it was already 20 kilos above my ideal weight. Between so many failed diets, my rebound was disgustingly brutal. Then I realized that I had done everything wrong. I already loved myself and I could feel sexy, my problem was not physical. I already had knee problems, I got very tired going up a couple of floors to my apartment, playing with my children had become an exhausting task and in general I no longer felt comfortable at all. I had to do something for my health or at any moment I would have a heart attack and that was something I definitely didn’t want. I confess that other than that, I felt very depressed. My self-esteem plummeted, even though on the outside I seemed like a confident and self-assured woman; It wasn’t even close to being one. Every six months I bought a bigger size, it’s a terrible feeling. Therefore NO, aesthetics is not the best reason to lose weight. At the end of the day, beauty is relative.
